P & C

The Parents and Citizens' Association at Warnervale Public School plays a vital role in supporting the programs and activities of the school community.

Its main function is to promote the interest of the school by bringing parents, citizens and teaching staff into close co-operation and collaboration. Parents as partners in the education process, have a right and a responsibility to play an active role in the education of their children. We are also very active in the community, initiating and supporting events that impact our children, the school and the wider school community.

All parents and carers of students enrolled at the school are eligible to be members of the P&C Association.  All citizens living within the boundaries of the school are also most welcome to attend.  We consider communication a key element to our success and fully endorse a positive and proactive attitude.

Our membership embraces a diverse group of people who are valued for their contribution of different ideas, talents and capacity.

P&C communication can be found in the school's weekly Wordabout Newsletter, Warnervale Public School P&C FaceBook page, the school's website, the P&C Newsletter or school app.

The Executive Committee for 2016 is:-

President: Kylie McGrath

Vice President: Sue Coleman

Secretary: Julie Graham

Treasurer: Michael Coleman

Vice Treasurer: Liz Croker

To contact the P&C in writing, please email to the school email address and mark "Attention WPS P&C": http://warnervale-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au

General meetings are held on the 2ndTuesday of every month (except during school holidays) near the Library and usually at 9.15 am or 7.00 pm.  We will advertise the dates and times regularly.  We discuss a broad-based agenda highlighting current issues, fundraising initiatives, committee reports and the Principal's Report.

Qualified child care is provided on site and free of charge for most evening meetings by our friends from Helping Hands. Please ensure you reserve places a week prior to the meeting.

Warnervale Public School Parents and Citizens Association is a member of the P&C Federation and the Central Coast Council of P&Cs. We engage the services of an independent auditor as per our regulatory requirements.

Supporting and becoming a part of the Parents and Citizens' Association is a very positive way of engaging in your children's education and helping to provide the best possible education for all students.  We hope to see you at meetings in 2016!
